[GR] Εικόνες από ένα καρνάγιο, στα ανατολικά προάστια της Θεσσαλονίκης. Νερό, σώματα, σκοινιά, αλυσίδες, ξύλο και μέταλλο, σε απρόμαυρο των φιλμ 16 χιλ. Μεταξύ της επισκευής των καραβιών και της μετέπειτα αναχώρησής τους, μια ομάδα ανδρών είναι επιφορτισμένη με την ανέλκυση και την καθέλκυσή τους. Μεταξύ των δύο, σχηματίζεται ένας ενδιάμεσος χώρος, σαν ένα στάσιμο αρχαίας τραγωδίας, φτιαγμένος από χειρονομίες και κινήσεις που ισορροπούν μεταξύ εγγύητας και απόστασης, σύνδεσης και αποχωρισμού, έντασης και τρυφερότητας.

[EN] Images from a small shipyard somewhere in Greece. Water, bodies, ropes, chains, wood and metal in a filmic poem in black and white 16mm. Between the repair of boats and their sailing anew, a few men pull them ashore and push them back into the water, once repaired. This in-between is an intense yet gentle time slot, like the choral interlude of an ancient tragedy made of gestures and movements that swing from closeness to distance, from bonding to detachment, from tension to tenderness.

[FR] Images d’un petit chantier naval, quelque part en Grèce. Eau, corps, cordes, chaînes, bois et métal, dans un poème en pellicule 16mm, noir et blanc. Entre la réparation de bateaux et leurs nouveaux départs en mer, une petite équipe d’hommes se charge de les tirer à terre, et de les remettre dans l’eau, une fois réparés. Dans cet entre-deux, se dessine un espace intense et doux à la fois – tel un “horiko”, un intermède choral et chorégraphique de tragédie antique – fait de gestes et de mouvements balançant entre rapprochement et éloignement, attachement et détachement, tension et tendresse.
