BIOGRAPHY

[EN] Born in 1982, northern Greece. After studying the history of the Balkans in Greece, she moved to Paris in 2006 where she currently lives most of the time. In France, she did some research for her PhD on the the question of rhythm in cinema. Since 2008, she made several films, mostly on 16mm at different artist-run labs in France (such as L’Etna and L’Abominable) where she is still active as a member. Most of her films are distributed by Light Cone (Paris).

[FR] Née en 1982, en Grèce du Nord. Après un cursus universitaire en Grèce sur l’histoire des Balkans, elle s’est rendue à Paris en 2006 où, depuis, elle vit principalement. En France, elle a effectué des recherches doctorales consacrées à la question du rythme au cinéma. Depuis 2008, elle a réalisé des films, principalement en pellicule 16mm, au sein de laboratoires indépendants français (L’Etna, puis L’Abominable), dont elle toujours un membre actif. La plupart de ces films sont distribués par Light Cone.
